Community Rebate Program Questions and Answers

Q. How much does it cost?

A. There are no costs to your organization. Husky pays for the membership cards and all administrative costs.

Q. Are only members of the organization allowed to use the program, or can friends and families use it?

A. Anyone who wants to use the Program is welcome to do so. The most frequent users will be members of your organization, but their friends, family members and other supporters of your group are also welcome to use the card and support your organization.

Q. Do customers need identification to use the Program?

A. No. All they need to do is ask the Husky attendant to swipe their card when they make a purchase. For pay at the pump transactions they will be prompted to insert their card into the card reader at the pump.

Q. What happens a card is lost or stolen? Is the member at risk from someone using it and running up heavy expenses?

A. Absolutely not. The Community Rebate card is not a credit card, you can't run up expenses with it. In the unlikely event that a stranger found a Rebate card and started using it, all that would happen is your group would get rebates from an unexpected source.

Q.Can we order more cards?

A. Absolutely, though we encourage you to order a small number of additional cards in your initial request for contingency (please keep this number small).

It is very easy to re-order cards at anytime: e-mail us at communityrebate@huskyenergy.com and include your organization name and the number of cards you require.

Q.Where can we use our cards?

A. Your members will be able to use their Community Rebate cards at nearly 500 Husky and Mohawk stations and Husky House restaurants from Ontario to British Columbia.

Q.How often do you send us our rebate payment?

A. Every three months when the rebate total earned equals or exceeds $50. If you do not reach the $50 minimum within three months, your rebate continues to grow until you do.

Q.Will you include a statement so we can confirm we are getting the correct payment?

A. Yes, the statement included with each rebate cheque provides a transaction history showing the card numbers that have been used within that three month period. If you choose, you can use the statement to compare to numbers and names you recorded on your Members List.

Q.What if I or one of my members have more questions?

A. If any member of your organization needs more information, or if they encounter problems using their card, please forward the questions to Husky at communityrebate@huskyenergy.com via your organization's administrator.
