Last year, Husky launched #KeepingCommunitiesMoving in response to the pandemic. We continue to support the communities we proudly serve by spreading kindness and creating small moments of joy to help make a difference in people's lives.

Kids eat free, 2021
We launched Kids Eat Free in 2020 and gave away more than 7,200 Husky House kids meals to the youngest pups in our pack. This year's program runs July 7 until Oct. 12 at participating Husky House Restaurants across the country! For every free kids meal we serve, we’ll donate $3 to Breakfast Club of Canada.
In Canada, two million children go to school on an empty stomach. Breakfast Club of Canada helps ensure young students have reliable access to nutritious food in a safe and supportive environment.
So plan a trip with your family to Husky House this summer. Order a kids meal favourite such as our Flapjacks, Grilled Cheese, Mini Burger or Chicken Basket; and together, we can help children reach their full potential, one breakfast at a time.
Thanks for sharing the love for your most loyal of companions this Valentine’s Day. You helped us raise $10,000 for Humane Canada with our #myHuskyPuppyLove social media campaign to support the great work they do for animal welfare.
Helping our highway heroes
Thanks to Fluid Energy Group and their generous donation, we gave away more than 70,000 bottles of Triton hand sanitizer to help our highway heroes, the professional drivers and truckers that support the communities across our network.
Pay the season forward to help feed families with Food Banks Canada
Many of us weren’t able to celebrate our usual traditions all together this past holiday. Husky played a major role to help make the season special for families in need in partnership with Food Banks Canada. For every Knife & Fork Hot Turkey sandwich we sold at Husky House Restaurants, $5 from every meal went toward the campaign. Over the course of 2020, Husky donated 100,000 meals to Food Banks Canada.
Free little lunches for kids
Husky handed out more than 2,000 free bagged lunches for kids at 34 locations across the country. Packed with a juice box or milk, sandwich, apple and granola bar, we hope these little lunches helped families with their new back-to-school routines and helped feed children who may not otherwise have had access to a healthy lunch.
Free meals for essential workers
Husky’s free meal initiative was just one small way to show our appreciation for frontline workers and everything you’ve done for our communities. We served more than 2,000 free take-out meals at Husky House Restaurants across the network.
This spring, Husky gave nearly 50,000 free coffees away to professional drivers across Canada as part of our #ThankATrucker free mo’JO café promotion.
Thank you to all professional drivers for #KeepingCommunitiesMoving during these challenging times.
